The Planning and Development Department is responsible for all aspects of land use planning and development, bylaw services, and assessment and taxation services in the City of Edmonton. This includes regional and inter-municipal planning, the development and implementation of the City of Edmonton Municipal Development Plan (Plan Edmonton), area and neighbourhood structure plans, subdivision plans and all inner-city revitalization and redevelopment plans.
